nZEB Near Zero Energy Building
At Entegra we embraced this philosophy in order to create a sustainable office building, practically achieving a near zero-energy.
Our goal is to achieve the LEED Gold seal of quality, Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, recognized worldwide, which guarantees that our building complies with the most demanding sustainable requirements. Because sustainability is an added and differential value to our building, reducing energy up to 70% compared to the current building regulations requirements.
We are aware of how important it is to use renewable materials such as wood. In our building, we used it for the façade and for Entegra’s hall, treating it with a centuries-old Japanese technique known as Shou Sugi Ban. This material has a unique look, great sturdiness, it is compostable at the end of the useful life of the building and is naturally protected against the elements.
The air conditioning and ventilation account for the highest proportion of the energy consumption in an Office building.
Our building will help you reduce energy consumption and will allow us to breathe outdoor natural air when the automated intelligent system detects that the conditions are ideal to allow outside air in. Because we know that a properly aired space is healthier and makes us feel better.
We’re sorry, but cars are not welcome here. We are all for sustainable mobility, with state-of-the-art parking facilities for bicycles and electric scooters. So that people can get to work happier and more relaxed while also contributing to cleaner air and a better future.
A brave and necessary decision, although not everyone understands it, yet.
We could have built an ordinary building, with ordinary materials and ordinary ideas. But then, we wouldn’t be ourselves. Instead, we have chosen to look at the future and spend time searching for the best materials, the most talented team and the most advanced technology. We have listened to nature and observed people.
And this process has led us to do things differently, to design an office building that respects the environment, with a near zero energy consumption.
